Description
As with all R. John Wright (premier American doll maker) products, there is great attention to quality and detail in this fully jointed 14” version of Pooh. He is made of the finest custom made English mohair/wool pile, with imported glass eyes and hand-embroidered nose. His ears and tail are set and sewn on by hand, and he comes with a tiny hand-crafted bee perched on his ear. The date of release is 1987-89. In addition, an authentic honey pot is included - produced exclusively for Pooh by the famous Bennington Potters. I am also including the book “Winnie-the-Pooh and Some Bees” hardcover book by A. A. Milne, with decorations by Ernest H. Shepard; and some paper cake plates with the saying - A Party for Me? Thought Pooh. How Grand! “Pooh” is number 1702 of 5,000 pieces. His bib might be a teeny bit discolored, but it was hardly noticeable and I had to use a magnifying glass to see it. Winnie-the-Pooh comes in his original box, and even though he is still in his original box, it was stored in a smoke-free environment, and all his tags are included. “Pooh” is no longer available and he is just way to cute to pass up. He’ll be treasured for years to come.NOTE: (Due to a very few non-paying buyers) - Within 7 days of the auction’s end, we must receive notification from the buyer as to how and when he/she will pay for the item.
