He retains ALL his original features, including shoe button eyes, nose and mouth stitching, and foot pads of which there are only two small holes in the felt to his 'hand' pads (nicely repaired a long time ago). He has a wonderful long nose, his button is missing now. He also retains his original claws which is very rare 100 years later ! The bear has about 95% fur retention which is clean, shiney and soft, and has very little wear. I'd say he is in excellent condition, is five way jointed and excellsior stuffed, and has NO REPAIRS. He will travel in his antique top, vintage military pants with brass buttons, and patriotic ribbon. An excellent addition to any Steiff collection. He measures a good 14".
